Note: This dock is not compatible with Thunderbolt 3 laptops or monitors—including those with Windows or Intel-based MacBooks—and does not support ChromeOS or Linux systems.
1. The HDMI 2.1 port and DisplayPort 2.1 port cannot be used simultaneously.
2. The front USB-C ports support charging and data transfer but do not support video output.3. Windows laptops with USB-C ports that support DisplayPort Alt Mode can only connect to one external monitor. Apple Silicon MacBooks with M1 / M2 / M3 Standard chips support only one external display via Thunderbolt. MacBooks with M1 / M2 / M3 Pro or Max chips, and all M4 models, support dual displays. M4 MacBooks with Thunderbolt 5 do not support three displays over a single Thunderbolt 5 connection.4. This dock supports triple display via two Thunderbolt downstream ports and one HDMI or DP port. However, whether triple display can be achieved depends on your laptop's specifications. Very few laptops are capable of supporting triple display with this dock. Based on our testing, only the Razer Blade 18 Gaming Laptop with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 successfully supports triple display. We will continue to update the list as more compatible devices become available.5. For MacBook (M Pro-series), connect the standard monitor before the high refresh rate monitor. Otherwise, the second display may not be recognized, especially after sleep.6. This dock does not support dual 5K Thunderbolt 3 monitors or a combination of a 5K Thunderbolt 3 monitor and a Thunderbolt 4 monitor in screen mirroring mode. For example, LG UltraFine 5K and Apple Studio Display are not supported in such configurations.
System Dependencies Notes
1. The minimum macOS version required to use this Thunderbolt 5 dock is macOS 15 or later.
2. MacBooks with Apple Silicon chips do not support external GPUs through any docking station. This is a system-level limitation that prevents macOS from recognizing or using an external GPU, even if it is physically connected via a dock.
3. If your laptop uses an 11th Gen Intel processor, please ensure that "Thunderbolt Technology Support" is enabled in the BIOS to maintain optimal performance. Also, confirm that the Thunderbolt controller NVM firmware version is 48.1 or higher.
